About Enrolled Agent

The Enrolled Agent (EA) course is a 6-month, fully online training program open to all individuals who have successfully completed their Class 12. This intensive course prepares students to become U.S. Certified Enrolled Agents (EAs), – Tax Return Preparation, and IRS representation. Through this program, students gain the skills needed to pass the IRS Special Enrolled Exam & represent tax payers before the IRS.

ISSD’s EA course are delivered entirely online through live classes and recorded sessions. The curriculum covers U.S. federal tax regulations, including individual and business tax issues, tax return preparation, IRS procedures, and ethical practices. This structured program is designed to prepare you for the IRS Special Enrollment Examination (SEE) – the certification exam for Enrolled Agents. Structure
  • 🧠 Three-Part Exam:
    Computer-based with a wide spread of taxation-related topics.
  • 📈 Passing Score:
    The exam totals 130 marks; to qualify, students must attain a minimum score of 105 or higher.
  • 📝 Format:
    Each part of the SEE contains 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ’s)

  • ✅ MCQ Criteria:
    Each part is comprised of 100 MCQ's, 85 of which are scored and weighted equally, while the remaining 15 are experimental questions that do not count toward scoring.
  • 🗓️ Exam Windows:
    May 1st to the end of February.
  • ⏱️ Duration:
    Each part is 3.5 hours long. The actual seat time is 4 hours per part, and one scheduled 15 break.
